Organizaciones nacionales latinas que representan a más de 2 millones de personas se han unido por primera vez para urgir la aprobación de la legislación de energía limpia y clima.
Como parte del esfuerzo, la coalición entregó una carta al líder de la mayoría en el Senado, Harry Reid, miembros del Senado de los Estados Unidos y de la Casa Blanca, en la que les hacen un llamado para que aprueben una legislación integral de energía limpia y clima este año.
Senator Nelson Votes for Florida Over Big Oil

Last week we learned that the U.S. Senate voted on a proposal that would have increased our dependence on oil, done away with fuel efficiency efforts and allowed oil companies and other polluters to operate with even fewer restrictions than they have now.
This at a time when we have the worst environmental disaster in U.S. history in the Gulf? Luckily, we in Florida have Senator Bill Nelson who did the right thing by opposing Sen. Murkowski's Big Oil Bailout and siding with American consumers, businesses, veterans, national security experts, healthcare professionals, and many others in Florida, over Big Oil.
