Voces' Reaction to Violence and Terrorist Attack in Charlottesville
WASHINGTON— The following is a statement from Adrianna Quintero, executive director of Voces, on the act of terror and violence during events organized by Neo-Nazi and white supremacist groups in Charlottesville, VA.
"We at Voces believe there is no excuse or space for racism, sexism, bigotry or hate, and strongly condemn the actions by white supremacists in Charlottesville, VA.
"Our hearts go out to the families and friends of Heather Heyer who lost her life protecting against hate, and to all who were injured in this horrific act of violence.
"Our country and our people must condemn these acts for what they are: cowrdly acts of violence. We are better than this and stronger than hate, and remain committed to fighting against those whose actions and hateful rhetoric instills fear and division, and provokes actions that put our future and peace at risk."

Reacción de Voces Respecto a la Violencia y Ataques Terroristas en Charlottesville
WASHINGTON— El siguiente es un posicionamiento de Adrianna Quintero, directora de Voces Verdes, respecto al acto de terror y violencia durante los eventos organizados por los grupos neo-nazis y de supremacía blanca en Charlottesville, VA.
"Voces reconoce que no hay excusa ni espacio para el racismo, sexismo, la intolerancia o el odio, y condenamos fuertemente las acciones por los supremacistas blancos en Charlottesville, VA."
"Enviamos nuestras condolencias a los familiares y amigos de Heather Heyer, la joven que perdio su vida, y a aquellos que fueron heridos en este horrendo acto de violencia."
"Nuestro pais y nuestra gente debe condenar estos actos por lo que son: actos cobrades de violencia. Debemos ademas reconocer que somos mejores que estos actos y que el amor y la paz son más fuertes que el odio. Permanecemos comprometidos a luchar contra aquellos cuyas acciones y retóricas de odio infunden miedo y provocan acciones que ponen en riesgo nuestro futuro y la paz."
