Study: Clean Energy Employment Booming, Creates a More Diverse Workforce and Higher Quality Jobs

DBL Investors has published this policy brief highlighting the economic benefits of the clean energy sector and the employment boom that is taking place within the industry.

Currently, some of the leading clean energy companies are outperforming prominent technology companies in terms of job growth.

Clean energy sectors such as solar installation are proving to be a more diverse and welcoming industry to minorities than traditional energy industries, employing over 16 thousand more Latinos and 4 thousand more African-Americans.

Amazingly, employment in the solar industry alone is growing at a rate of 10 times the national average, representing an 86% increase in employment figures since 2010.
